Petro Olenych, Chief Digital Transformation Officer of KyivAdapting to the harsh reality, Kyiv had to advance towards a multi-system model of resilience. The need to maintain trusted communication with citizens, provide real-time situational awareness, and foster coordination among emergency services required new digital services to be developed and our priorities to be redefined given the unparalleled cyberattacks and uncertainty Kyiv has experienced during the war

The enemy is targeting Kyiv's critical infrastructure to disconnect us and plunge us into darkness

Generators, Wi-Fi points, and uninterrupted sources of energy help the city and all its residents work, live, and create our new future.
Support us by supporting our energy system

During rocket attacks, emergency aid is the first priority, so coordination and interaction between firefighters, medics, and municipal services are critical. Military operations and power outages cause communication failures and require backup channels. In emergency situations, a personalized alert system saves lives. The sensor framework and network management by LoRaWAN work to reduce the load and strengthen the resilience of the city's systems

Only 50% of Kyiv's students have access to full-time education. First, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the city to switch to online classes. Now, military actions and constant missile attacks are accelerating the transition to a hybrid education system. This allows students to continue their education from anywhere: while temporarily displaced, in a bomb shelter, at home, or in school. Our goal is to provide a digital educational platform to 100% of children

Air defense and missile defense systems (ADS and MDS, respectively) are extremely important in the security policy of both Kyiv and Ukraine as a whole. With constant missile and kamikaze drone attacks, the enemy continues to terrorize everyday Ukrainians and inflict significant damage on us, destroying civilian infrastructure, including critical infrastructure like the energy grid and residential and administrative buildings. The national government and the Armed Forces are doing everything they can to protect the sky above the capital, but Kyivans can also take part in building an effective air and missile defense system. That's why the SafeSky project was created
